In this season God has confirmed to me more than ever that it is indeed a time in which things will just happen “suddenly”. So, I wanted to encourage you this week that God is a God who is not one to be haste in His decisions but indeed a God who will “suddenly” just do for you and through you!
God is a patient God and calls us to walk in patience which is wisdom. Therefore, know that despite the fact that you may have been waiting for a desire or desires on your heart for a while, the time is now to trust God, knowing that in a sudden instance, your life can change! Do you believe it or perceive it? As the scriptures say, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19 NIV). Therefore, I encourage you to not lose hope but to keep your faith! Know that God has nothing but good for you despite the fact that we will indeed face trials and tribulations as Jesus Christ did, God will indeed walk you through the fire and gets you out (Daniel 3)!
Know that all that you have gone through, the pain, the hurt, and the brokenness was for a reason! What the enemy used to destroy you, God indeed will use and can use, to bring you life, hope, and a future; “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).
Most of all, do not use this time in the “waiting” to stand on your own understanding. This will only lead you to be exhausted and anxious. Instead, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV).
Know that God is just asking you to be faithful and to remain in Him, for He desires to use you mightily to be a blessing unto others and in turn bless you as well, ““Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much” (Luke 16:10 NIV). It is only through your obedience and faithfulness to God, through the trials and tribulations that you face, that you will reap a harvest. Don’t delay your obedience and faithfulness so that you can be all that God has called you to be and to receive all that He has for you to receive; “”If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken” (Isaiah 1:19-20 NIV).
So again, I ask you, do you perceive it? Are you trusting God knowing that He has the best for you in store? The best is yet to come, but suddenly it will all make sense, be revealed to you, and come to pass…in His perfect timing. Be patient and “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLJV).
Love,
Brya
